耶利米書13章18-19節

13:18 上主對我說：「去告訴王和太后，叫他們從寶座上下來。因為他們頭上華麗的冠冕已經掉落了。
13:19 猶大南部的各城鎮被敵人圍困著；沒有人能替他們解圍。猶大的人民全都被擄走了。」

13:18 Say to the king and the queen mother: “Take a lowly seat, for your beautiful crown has come down from your head.”
13:19 The cities of the Negeb are shut up, with none to open them; all Judah is taken into exile, wholly taken into exile.
今天的經文中，描述上主對統治者的警告，19節是常用的誇大形容法。在西元前587年間猶大和耶路撒冷並沒有「全」被放逐。。
