耶利米書21章11-14節

21:11 上主吩咐我這樣告訴大衛後代—猶大的王室：「你們要留心聽我—上主的話。你們天天要執行公正的審判，從欺壓者手中解救被壓迫的人。不然，你們邪惡的行為會激起我的怒火；那是沒有人能熄滅的。
21:12 併於上節
21:13 耶路撒冷啊，我要對付你！你高高座落在山上，像巖石矗立於平原。你自誇沒有人能攻打你，擊破你的防線；
21:14 但是我要因你的行為懲罰你。我要燒毀你的宮殿；火焰要吞滅周圍的一切。我—上主這樣宣布了。」

21:11 “And to the house of the king of Judah say, ‘Hear the word of the LORD,
21:12 O house of David! Thus says the LORD: “‘Execute justice in the morning, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed, lest my wrath go forth like fire, and burn with none to quench it, because of your evil deeds.’”
21:13 “Behold, I am against you, O inhabitant of the valley, O rock of the plain, declares the LORD; you who say, ‘Who shall come down against us, or who shall enter our habitations?’
21:14 I will punish you according to the fruit of your deeds, declares the LORD; I will kindle a fire in her forest, and it shall devour all that is around her.”
今天的經文，上帝責備猶大王：自以為安全、不聽上帝的勸告而行惡，導致上帝要毀滅耶路撒冷。
