耶利米書23章9-12節

23:9 論到那些假先知，我的心破碎，全身發抖。上主和他神聖的話使我醉了，使我像被酒灌醉的人。
23:10 這土地上到處是對上主不忠的人；他們濫用權力，過著邪惡生活。由於上主的詛咒，土地悲歎，牧場乾旱。
23:11 上主說：先知和祭司都不敬虔；我看見他們在聖殿裡做壞事。
23:12 他們走的道路又滑又暗；我要使他們絆跌滑倒。他們受懲罰的時候到了；我要降災難在他們身上。我—上主這樣宣布了。

23:9 Concerning the prophets: My heart is broken within me; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, like a man overcome by wine, because of the LORD and because of his holy words.
23:10 For the land is full of adulterers; because of the curse the land mourns, and the pastures of the wilderness are dried up. Their course is evil, and their might is not right.
23:11 “Both prophet and priest are ungodly; even in my house I have found their evil, declares the LORD.
23:12 Therefore their way shall be to them like slippery paths in the darkness, into which they shall be driven and fall, for I will bring disaster upon them in the year of their punishment, declares the LORD.
今天的經文中，描述先知和祭司等神職人員居然也是褻瀆敗壞的，耶利米因此覺得憂傷難忍，而這些先知也將被懲罰。23:9 提到耶利米的內心感受，當他想到那些假先知的作為，整個身心都不舒服。
