耶利米書23章13-15節

23:13 我看見撒馬利亞先知們的罪過：他們奉巴力神明的名說預言，使我的子民走入歧途。
23:14 我看見耶路撒冷先知們更可惡：他們姦淫，撒謊，慫恿人做壞事；因此沒有人棄邪歸正。在我眼中他們都跟所多瑪人一樣邪惡，跟蛾摩拉人一樣腐敗。
23:15 所以，關於耶路撒冷的先知們，我—上主、萬軍的統帥這樣說：我要使他們吃苦果，喝毒水，因為他們在全國散播不敬虔的風氣。

23:13 In the prophets of Samaria I saw an unsavory thing: they prophesied by Baal and led my people Israel astray.
23:14 But in the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies; they strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns from his evil; all of them have become like Sodom to me, and its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”
23:15 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets: “Behold, I will feed them with bitter food and give them poisoned water to drink, for from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”
今天的經文，說明北國以色列先知讓北國的百姓走錯路，現在南國猶大的先知也一樣。以致猶大人好像上帝毀滅的所多瑪、蛾摩拉。因此上帝要嚴厲對待造成這種褻瀆風潮的先知們。
