耶利米書23章23-32節

23:23 「我是無所不在的上帝。
23:24 沒有人能躲避我，使我看不見他。難道你不曉得無論天地的哪一角落我都在嗎？
23:25 我聽到那些先知用我的名騙人，他們自稱在夢中得到了我的信息。
23:26 那些先知撒謊，把我的子民引入歧途；他們騙人要騙到幾時呢？
23:27 他們以為自己編造的夢會使我的子民忘記我，好像他們的祖先曾經忘記我，轉向巴力。
23:28 做夢的先知該說他是做夢；聽見我信息的先知該忠實地傳達我的信息。雜草和麥子怎能相提並論呢？
23:29 我的信息像烈火，像一把擊碎巖石的鐵鎚。
23:30 所以，我—上主這樣說：聽吧，我要對付這班先知。他們彼此引用對方的話，當作我的話傳達。
23:31 聽吧，我要對付這班先知，他們把自己的話當作我的話。
23:32 聽吧，我要對付這班先知。他們的夢都是騙人的。他們述說這些夢，以謊言和誇張的話把我子民引入歧途。我並沒有差派他們，也沒有授命給他們。他們對我的子民毫無益處。我—上主這樣宣布了。」

23:23 “Am I a God at hand, declares the LORD, and not a God far away?
23:24 Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the LORD. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the LORD.
23:25 I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in my name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’
23:26 How long shall there be lies in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, and who prophesy the deceit of their own heart,
23:27 who think to make my people forget my name by their dreams that they tell one another, even as their fathers forgot my name for Baal?
23:28 Let the prophet who has a dream tell the dream, but let him who has my word speak my word faithfully. What has straw in common with wheat? declares the LORD.
23:29 Is not my word like fire, declares the LORD, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
23:30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, declares the LORD, who steal my words from one another.
23:31 Behold, I am against the prophets, declares the LORD, who use their tongues and declare, ‘declares the LORD.’
23:32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, declares the LORD, and who tell them and lead my people astray by their lies and their recklessness, when I did not send them or charge them. So they do not profit this people at all, declares the LORD.
今天的經文，上帝責備假先知說假預言，讓上帝的百姓忘記神，等於是偷竊上帝的話，上帝要與他們對立。
