耶利米書25章1-7節

25:1 約西亞的兒子約雅敬作王統治猶大國的第四年，我從上主領受他要給猶大人民的信息。（這是尼布甲尼撒作巴比倫王的第一年。）
25:2 我轉告猶大全國人民和耶路撒冷人說：
25:3 「從亞們的兒子約西亞作王統治猶大國的第十三年到今天，一共二十三年，上主不斷地向我說話，我也不斷地向你們轉告他的話，你們總是不聽。
25:4 上主一再地派遣他的僕人—先知們向你們傳話，你們總是不聽，也不理會。
25:5 他們勸你們放棄邪惡的生活，改變罪惡的行為，好使你們得以繼續留在上主賜給你們和你們祖先作為永久基業的土地上。
25:6 他們也勸你們不要敬拜服事別的神，不要拜你們所造的偶像而激怒上主，他就不會懲罰你們。
25:7 可是上主說了，你們非但不聽，反而用自己所造的偶像激怒他，為自己招來懲罰。

25:1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah (that was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon),
25:2 which Jeremiah the prophet spoke to all the people of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem:
25:3 “For twenty-three years, from the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, to this day, the word of the LORD has come to me, and I have spoken persistently to you, but you have not listened.
25:4 You have neither listened nor inclined your ears to hear, although the LORD persistently sent to you all his servants the prophets,
25:5 saying, ‘Turn now, every one of you, from his evil way and evil deeds, and dwell upon the land that the LORD has given to you and your fathers from of old and forever.
25:6 Do not go after other gods to serve and worship them, or provoke me to anger with the work of your hands. Then I will do you no harm.’
25:7 Yet you have not listened to me, declares the LORD, that you might provoke me to anger with the work of your hands to your own harm.
今天的經文是關於尼布甲尼撒元年時，耶利米發出預言：上帝已經警告猶大人二十三年，但是猶大人都沒有聽從。
