耶利米書25章18-26節

25:18 我給耶路撒冷、猶大各城鎮，連同它們的君王和官員都喝這酒，使他們成為別人詆毀，唾棄，詛咒的對象。（今天的情形也是一樣。）
25:19-26 以下所列的也都該喝這酒： 埃及王，他的官員和首領；所有埃及人和居留在埃及的外僑；烏斯所有的君王；非利士各城：亞實基倫、迦薩、以革倫所有的君王和亞實突殘存的居民；以東人、摩押人，和亞捫人；泰爾和西頓所有的君王；地中海一帶的君王；底但、提瑪，和布斯各城的人；所有留短頭髮的民族；阿拉伯所有的君王；沙漠地帶各部落的酋長；心利、以攔，和米底亞所有的君王；北方遠近所有的君王。地上各國都該喝這酒。末了，巴比倫王也要喝這酒。

25:18 Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, its kings and officials, to make them a desolation and a waste, a hissing and a curse, as at this day;
25:19 Pharaoh king of Egypt, his servants, his officials, all his people,
25:20 and all the mixed tribes among them; all the kings of the land of Uz and all the kings of the land of the Philistines (Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod);
25:21 Edom, Moab, and the sons of Ammon;
25:22 all the kings of Tyre, all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the coastland across the sea;
25:23 Dedan, Tema, Buz, and all who cut the corners of their hair;
25:24 all the kings of Arabia and all the kings of the mixed tribes who dwell in the desert;
25:25 all the kings of Zimri, all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of Media;
25:26 all the kings of the north, far and near, one after another, and all the kingdoms of the world that are on the face of the earth. And after them the king of Babylon shall drink.
今天的經文，耶利米描述喝上帝憤怒之杯的對象：猶大、埃及、非利士地等等，最後巴比倫自己也要喝。
