耶利米書22章24-30節

22:24 上主對猶大王約雅敬的兒子約雅斤說：「我—永生的上帝發誓：即使你是我右手所帶的印章戒指，我也要把你摘除，
22:25 交給你所畏懼、要殺害你的人。我要把你交給巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒和他的軍隊。
22:26 我要把你和你母親放逐國外，到那不是你們出生的地方去；你們要死在那裡。
22:27 你們渴望回來，但是永遠不能回來。」
22:28 我說：「約雅斤王不是像一隻破碎、沒人要的瓶子嗎？否則，為什麼他和他的兒女都被丟棄，流放到異鄉去呢？」
22:29 大地呀！大地呀！大地呀！要聽上主的話。
22:30 他說：這人註定要喪失兒女，成為一事無成的人！他沒有後代好繼承大衛的王位；沒有一人可統治猶大。我—上主這樣宣布了。

22:24 “As I live, declares the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, were the signet ring on my right hand, yet I would tear you off
22:25 and give you into the hand of those who seek your life, into the hand of those of whom you are afraid, even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and into the hand of the Chaldeans.
22:26 I will hurl you and the mother who bore you into another country, where you were not born, and there you shall die.
22:27 But to the land to which they will long to return, there they shall not return.”
22:28 Is this man Coniah a despised, broken pot, a vessel no one cares for? Why are he and his children hurled and cast into a land that they do not know?
22:29 O land, land, land, hear the word of the LORD!
22:30 Thus says the LORD: “Write this man down as childless, a man who shall not succeed in his days, for none of his offspring shall succeed in sitting on the throne of David and ruling again in Judah.”
