7 那日子一到，人要轉向創造他們的主，向以色列神聖的上帝求救。
8 他們不再倚賴自己的手所造的祭壇，也不信任自己的傑作，就是那亞舍拉女神的柱子和燒香的祭壇。

香壇（和合本：「祭壇」）
從考古挖掘我們看到整個古代近東地區的香壇各式各樣，有的支腳碩大華麗，圖案繁覆（像在他納所挖掘的）；在家中祭祀或是煙熏房間用的則是個簡單的桌台，充滿了異味與惹人嫌的蟲子。以色列人在敬拜時使用香的歷史悠久（出30:7-8；民十六46-48），與其他民族的神祇與法術也相關（賽65:3；耶19:13）。
