以賽亞書 45：2-3

2 我要親自為你開路，
為你削平大小山岡。
我要攻破銅門，
斬斷鐵閂。
3 我要把隱藏的寶物、
庫裡的財富都賜給你；
我要你知道我是上主，
知道以色列的上帝指名呼喚你。

銅門、鐵閂 希臘史學家希羅多德形容巴比倫是「百座城門環繞城墻，上有銅門、銅柱、銅梁」。在亞述的巴拉瓦特一地挖掘出大型銅門，讓我們一窺當時的巴比倫城墻是什麽樣子。門用鐵閂橫插鎖上，而鐵是最難攻破的材料（見：申三十三25）。
